Our story…

Mensa, the High IQ Society, is an international organization whose only membership requirement is a score in the top two percent of the general population on a standardized intelligence test. Mensa currently has over 100,000 members in over 100 countries, organized into 41 national groups. In Mensa, members can meet other stimulating members, join one of the over 150 special interest groups, and attend local, national, and international events. Mensa encourages and supports programs for gifted children, sponsors research into the nature of intelligence and awards thousands of dollars in scholarships each year.

Vermont Mensa is the Vermont chapter of American Mensa.
We are a local group of Region 1 (the northeast region of the US), and encompass the entire state of Vermont. Vermont Mensa currently has about 100 members.
